Seat Adapter Kit - Suitable for use with N70 Hilux
These kits allow the fitment of either Ford seat from a BA, BF or FG Falcon, Including all the FPV range AND VE Commodore seats. The adapter kit mounts on top of your existing Toyota rails and provides new mounting points for the new seat base. They are compatible with the N70 Hilux models (2005-2015), if your model has a bench seat on the passenger side, you may need a set of sliding rails from a bucket seat. If you have factory-fitted airbags in the seats please speak with an engineer regarding seat swap legality in your state.
By removing the Ford rails you do not need to worry about any of the electrics that come with the seat. Lumbar support and back angle adjustment is all managed via manual dials on the side of the seat.
Please note that due to the design of factory the Hilux rails that these adapters bolt onto, the seat will be raised by approximately 15mm, particularly if your original seat has sagged. This kit also requires the drilling of a few small rivets, however, no cutting, grinding or welding is required.
One kit will do both front seats unless you select otherwise during checkout.
Please note - These kits have been designed to pass compliance laws in all Australian states. Legislation requires, however, that the installation must be sighted and signed off officially by a certified engineer in the state the car is registered. Until certified, these kits are intended for offroad use only. If your hilux has in-seat airbags, we recommend discussing the modification with an engineer before doing the swap.
Seats not included in sale. Some premium FPV models have electric lumbar support which you must wire-in yourself to use.
